It's so official as to how much I’m really enjoying hearing other people's skin stories. During the Love & Nudes photo shoot, I asked each model to describe what they love about their skin. Each of their answers was really different in their own way. It was refreshing and intriguing to hear how they expressed the story of their own skin.
I thought this could provide inspiration in helping others to appreciate their skin in the same way. For example, our model Shakhira (below) wistfully described how she loved the way the rain felt when it landed on her skin...this gave me goosebumps! It was such a small detail we usually take for granted, making me think about how much we should love nature. Of course, I always have to bring it back to us, meaning how much we should cherish ourselves in our true nature. The key word here is NATURE, loving how we were naturally created and appreciating our planet and all the amazing things it provides us.
It was so awesome to hear them own their tone, through their own voice and appreciation of their skin. You will get to hear snippets of our models’ stories during the crowdfunding campaign. This will be so enlightening and I simply can’t wait to share it with everyone.
