Tell us a little about your business. What is it about?
My Boss Is Me is a business and personal development firm that helps women of around the world plan, launch and grow profitable businesses.
What is the change that you would like to bring to the world?
My mission is to help women around the world see their deepest desires and business dreams come to fruition through what I like to refer to as the “gift of entrepreneurship.”
What drove you to start this business?
10 years ago I walked away from my last corporate job. Going through just about every up and down imaginable has made me want to make the entrepreneurial journey easier for others.
Has anything changed since you started?
I think now is the best time for women but more specifically women of colour to own a business or to do whatever it is they want to do. The world wide web and social media has changed everyone's access to what would at one time be considered off limits.
How do you think being a woman of colour has impacted your journey?
Interesting question, I think that being a women of colour comes with it's own unique set of challenges but overcoming those challenges are also what make us that much more resilient and able.
