We're celebrating the everyday woman of colour! We're working on an exciting new project called Thru Her Lens. From May 1st to June 3rd, we are asking women to submit a photo of a woman of colour (Asian, Black, LatinX, South Asian) and to let us know why she is beautiful. We want to see dark, medium and all types of skin shades captured.
Why should you participate in Thru Her Lens? To BE AN INSPIRATION TO OTHER WOMEN and to celebrate different types of beauty that is rarely showcased. Finally, to feature your photography talent or beauty!
The photographer or the subject must live/work/study in Peel Region (Caledon, Mississauga, Brampton) to be eligible. Please submit your photos and info here:

We will be inviting each photographer, their subjects, the public and media to our event. We want you, your family and friends to join us in this celebration of women. We will be exhibiting these photos on Thursday June 14, 2018 5pm - 8:30pm at the Chinguacousy Library in Brampton.
